There’s a richness in shared stories — I hope you’ll find it in mine.
Welcome to this little corner of the internet. This is my personal journal — the unpolished version, the soft unfolding behind the cleaner lines you’ll see elsewhere.
I’m a woman in her late 30s, not writing from the finish line, but from right here — in it. In the questions, the rebuilding, the redefining. This space was never meant to be about arriving. It’s about choosing again. Rewriting. Softening. Starting over in a slower way.
Her Golden Hours wasn’t born from clarity — it was born from the raw foggy stage.
The kind that comes after too many reinventions, too much proving, too many years of doing life “right” and still wondering: but is this really it?
After leaving corporate, flying around the world as a flight attendant, while running my own business, and chasing all the versions of “success,” I realized I wasn’t chasing freedom anymore — I was finally craving peace. And then I started writing again.
What began as a personal journaling practice slowly became this. A blog. A guide. A soft landing place for anyone who, like me, needed a different kind of map.
I’m not here as an expert. I’m here as her. I am the woman in transition. I’m learning what it means to live slower, softer, more honestly — even when it’s uncomfortable.
And so Her Golden Hours became both a space and a practice. A way of documenting this season — one where I’m rebuilding with more presence and bending the rules. A way of sharing, not preaching. Of being in the bloom, not the before-and-after.
If you’re here, maybe you’re blooming too. Or maybe you’re just beginning to loosen your grip on the life you thought you had to live.
Either way, I’m glad you found your way here.
To start the journey here are two of my favorite journal prompts:
What is the concept of life I choose to not believe in anymore?
What is the concept of life I choose to believe in now?
Feel free to let me know what came up for you.
